Overijssel.
Anyone who has a passion for untouched landscapes, can really enjoy himself here. Sailing along the long-stretched pasture lands and the untouched reed fields, via the old locks and channels you will reach nature reserves such as the Weerribben and the Beulakker- and Belter Wijde.
So much to see.
Along the way, you will certainly see purple herons, harriers, and great reed warblers. Old harbours, such as Vollenhove and Blokzijl are absolutely worthy of a visit and, of course, also a trip to the ‘Venice of the North’ should be included.
Striking the masts.
Even those bridges that cannot be opened do not form an obstacle for many of our ships, as their masts can be lowered.
