Rina and Bert Baars have managed the 'Amazone' since 1994. Together they do everything they can to ensure that all their guests have a pleasant and comfortable time on the water. This magnificent sea-going vessel is very safe due to the closed bulwark on all sides. It has a spacious deck with seating, and easy to operate but effective schooner rigging. The attractive round deck saloon has a bar, refrigerator and comfortable backed seats. The separate galley is situated below deck. Five toilets and separate showers can also be found below deck, between the ten cabins with single berths and duvets. Headroom is two metres throughout the ship. Extending your trip Its possible for trips to be extended. Contact us for a tailored quote.
Alternative departure harbour Its also possible to use a departure harbour other than the base harbours. If you do, you should take into account the vessels crossing time, which will either be charged for or form part of your trip itinerary. That charge is €60 per hour for vessels being prepared for trips of more than one day.
Bedding and towels Trips of more than one day always include the provision of sheets, pillows and pillow cases. Towels can be hired on board for €4 each. You can arrange this with us up to three weeks before departure.
Cleaning If the cleaning of the vessel after the trip is not included in the rental price (see specifications menu), you can choose to carry out the cleaning yourself or pay to have it done. You can pay the captain on board, or have it added it to the charge for services if you are paying for catering. Cleaning on Saturdays and Sundays is subject to a €20 supplement.
