Alternative departure harbour
Its also possible to use a departure harbour other than the base harbours. If you do, you should take into account the vessels crossing time, which will either be charged for or form part of your trip itinerary. That charge is €60 per hour for vessels being prepared for trips of more than one day.

On many ships you can even cook on board with groceries that you have brought with you (or ordered). You can see if this is possible (compulsory use of catering) in the specifications tab. These ships are fitted with a well equipped kitchen, with items including crockery, pans and cutlery. You can use these free of charge. In a number of port towns we can provide you with ordering lists from the supermarket that you can use to have your groceries delivered to the ship.

In order to make it easier to cook for groups on board a ship. You can order the "cookbook for groups" through NAUPAR.

Bedding and towels
Trips of more than one day always include the provision of sheets, pillows and pillow cases. Towels can be hired on board for €4,- each, incl. VAT. You can arrange this with us up to three weeks before departure.

Cleaning
If the cleaning of the vessel after the trip is not included in the rental price (see specifications menu), you can choose to carry out the cleaning yourself or pay to have it done. You can pay the captain on board, or have it added it to the charge for services if you are paying for catering. Cleaning on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays is subject to a €20 supplement.

Service Pack Basic
NAUPAR loves to offer you all kinds of convenience on board. Up to 4 weeks before departure you can order the service pack. This means that you don't have to purchase the basic items you will need on board. For a fixed fee the service pack will already be on board when you arrive. The pack consists of different new/clean products (unopened packages). After use you can take the pack with you, except for the kitchen towels and dish towels. When you have ordered catering, you do not need to order the pack. The items are included in the catering pack.

You can order the service pack up to four weeks before departure. You will pay the captain for the pack, when you board the ship. Costs depend on the number of beds on the ship.

Insurance
All of NAUPAR?s ships are all-risk insured. Additionally, the crew has a third-party insurance covering their liability towards the passengers. It is strongly advised that an insurance is taken out for the group as well.

Bus transport.
Besides the ship, NAUPAR also provides bus transport. We do this by collaborating with a recognised coach leasing company. This company ensures that you are taken to and from the harbour of departure in the safest, most comfortable and most affordable manner.
