On board the two-mast clipper Esperanza you can enjoy a weekend, several days, or a week of active sailing. On deck you can help plot the course and assist in, for instance, hoisting the sails. Even if you prefer your trip to be more relaxing, you can easily enjoy yourself on board the Esperanza. When possible, the skipper will introduce you to a unique experience. You will disembark onto the middle of a dry tide sandbar to discover what kind of creatures live on the bottom of the Wadden Sea.
Space to enjoy yourself on deck. On the deck of the two-master Esperanza there is more than enough room to either actively take part in sailing the ship, or to relax if that's what you prefer. Her flat deck and broad gangways make this ship very accessible. And of course there will be enough opportunity during your trip to sit back, relax and enjoy the sun with a tasty snack, a drink and some good conversation.
Sociable into the wee hours. The Esperanza has a spacious and attractive dayroom with a professional kitchen and a bar. Sit down at one of the tables to enjoy a delicious meal. The dayroom contains a jukebox, books and games, which you can use to your heart’s content during the evening hours.
Sleeping on board. After an active day of sailing, you can crawl into a comfortable bed in one of the cabins on board the Esperanza. All cabins have running water and central heating. The showers are equipped with thermostatically controlled taps.
History. The clipper Esperanza was launched in 1902 as a sailing freight clipper. After an extensive conversion in 1991, the ship was commissioned as a charter vessel. Today, the crew of the Esperanza enjoys taking you with them on a wonderful sailing trip over the IJsselmeer or Wadden Sea, for instance.

That charge is €60 per hour for vessels being prepared for trips of more than one day.
