On board the clipper ‘Gouwzee’ you will make a great sailing trip on the Dutch waters. You can help hoisting the sails or just relax and enjoy the view. Or you may want to visit a lively coastal town or the Wadden islands. Anyway, your trip will definitely be one that you are not likely to forget.

All hands on deck.
On the deck of the clipper Gouwzee everyone is invited to roll up their sleeves. The sails have to be raised and set. Do you prefer to take it easy? Then find yourself a nice place in the cockpit and watch the panoramic views go by while you enjoy a snack and a drink.

Belowdecks is also a good place to be on the clipper Gouwzee. The large windows allow much light to enter the spacey day room and provide a fine view over the water. The cosy sitting areas offer a comfortable place to sit at a table to everyone, so the party can sit together for a pleasant evening or a great meal. The spacey, half-open galley is fully equipped, so that you can prepare your favourite dishes in the blink of an eye!

Staying the night on board the Gouwzee.
After an exciting day on the water you can spend the night on board the Gouwzee. Find yourself a comfortable bed in one of the cabins. All cabins have running water, a 230 volt outlet for your hairdryer or telephone charger, reading lights over the beds and central heating. So you will not be cold aboard this cosy clipper.

History.
The clipper Gouwzee was originally built to serve as a freighter. After a thorough refurbishment, in which the former cargo hold was converted into a comfortable passenger accommodation, the ship now takes her guests on sailing trips on the Dutch inland waterways.
