In the 17th century, the Rotterdam mussel seller Kaat Mossel was known as an assertive, valiant woman. A high-spirited woman, as she might have been called then. When it comes to sailing, the 'klipper' 'Kaat Mossel' is just as assertive and high-spirited as her namesake. Skipper/owner Willem and his mate would like to welcome you aboard for an enjoyable sailing adventure.
They will try to accommodate all your wishes, and are only too happy to discuss all the available options with you. Extending your trip Its possible for trips to be extended. Contact us for a tailored quote.
Alternative departure harbour Its also possible to use a departure harbour other than the base harbours. If you do, you should take into account the vessels crossing time, which will either be charged for or form part of your trip itinerary. That charge is €60 per hour for vessels being prepared for trips of more than one day.
Bedding and towels Trips of more than one day always include the provision of sheets, pillows and pillow cases. Towels can be hired on board for €4 each. You can arrange this with us up to three weeks before departure.
Cleaning If the cleaning of the vessel after the trip is not included in the rental price (see specifications menu), you can choose to carry out the cleaning yourself or pay to have it done. You can pay the captain on board, or have it added it to the charge for services if you are paying for catering. Cleaning on Saturdays and Sundays is subject to a €20 supplement.
