You're invited to take an active part in sailing along on the Medusa (formerly Vrouwe Aaltje), a boat that has successfully competed in regattas. The crew ensures a variety of sailing adventures and gladly accepts spectacular challenges, such as mooring in harbours under sail. Below deck, you are surprised by a cosy and colourful living area and an ambient kitchen fitted with all conveniences.
The cabins are equipped with hot and cold running water and large beds. Unique to the Medusa, one of the cabins can be easily converted into a sauna. The guest accommodation as well as the cabins have large windows that offer optimal daylight and ventilation. We'd be glad to take you across the IJsselmeer and Frisian Sea, as well as to delight you with the polder landscapes of Friesland, or the winding reed lands of Overijssel.
A trip on the Medusa guarantees a relaxing sailing experience. Sander and Kerstin bid you a hearty welcome! Groups of 24 Persons are also welcome on board (ask for the rates!).

Extending your trip Its possible for trips to be extended. Contact us for a tailored quote.
Alternative departure harbour Its also possible to use a departure harbour other than the base harbours. If you do, you should take into account the vessels crossing time, which will either be charged for or form part of your trip itinerary. That charge is €60 per hour for vessels being prepared for trips of more than one day.
Bedding and towels Trips of more than one day always include the provision of sheets, pillows and pillow cases. Towels can be hired on board for €4 each. You can arrange this with us up to three weeks before departure.
Cleaning If the cleaning of the vessel after the trip is not included in the rental price (see specifications menu), you can choose to carry out the cleaning yourself or pay to have it done. You can pay the captain on board, or have it added it to the charge for services if you are paying for catering. Cleaning on Saturdays and Sundays is subject to a €20 supplement.
