The clipper Meridiaan is a much-loved boat with excellent sailing characteristics. The boat was launched in 1903 and served as a freighter until 1982. It is now a 2-masted sailing boat once again, as per the original rigging design. There is a large saloon on deck, which makes it a pleasant place to pass the time. The prettily crafted living area offers ample space for guests.
The sanitation was modernised in 2004 to comply with current standards. Skipper Ruud Stam is an excellent host, known for his creative, fun activities for young and old along the way. Child-friendliness is a priority aboard the Meridiaan. The railing is constructed in a way that ensures optimal safety. Children's life vests are always available. A stair lift makes the boat accessible for those who may be less steady on their feet.

Extending your trip Its possible for trips to be extended. Contact us for a tailored quote.
Alternative departure harbour Its also possible to use a departure harbour other than the base harbours. If you do, you should take into account the vessels crossing time, which will either be charged for or form part of your trip itinerary. That charge is €60 per hour for vessels being prepared for trips of more than one day.
Bedding and towels Trips of more than one day always include the provision of sheets, pillows and pillow cases. Towels can be hired on board for €4 each. You can arrange this with us up to three weeks before departure.
Cleaning If the cleaning of the vessel after the trip is not included in the rental price (see specifications menu), you can choose to carry out the cleaning yourself or pay to have it done. You can pay the captain on board, or have it added it to the charge for services if you are paying for catering. Cleaning on Saturdays and Sundays is subject to a €20 supplement.
