On the ‘Selene’ you will experience the traditional sailing of times gone by combined with modern-day luxury. A unique feature are the large portholes which are situated just ten centimetres above the water line. This means that when you are sitting inside you can admire wonderful views over the water and during the actual sailing you can sometimes catch a glimpse of what it is like under water. As sturdy and robust as the ‘Selene’ is on the outside, the inside is beautiful, natural and delicate. It has been designed in the style of a modern beach and lounge club, with a light-coloured oak floor and magnificent interior carpentry. The ambiance is relaxed and modern, yet still retains the charm of the ship’s past life. From barbecueing to dining and from meeting to relaxing. Four-hour rate The four-hour rate is not valid from 11 April 2011 to 10 July 2011, and from 23 August 2011 to 16 October 2011. On Fridays and Saturdays during those periods, a minimum eight-hour rate will apply.
