The skipper and her crew welcome you aboard the 'Vrouw Dina'. This comfortable and cosy traditional sailing ship is a 'zeetjalk' with one mast and a total sail area of 230m². After a brief introduction to the ship you will be served coffee or tea with sweets. When the hawsers are released and the sails have been hoisted, it is time for the trip.

Lounging or learning.
Abovedecks offers lots of room to move. On the rear deck and on the hatch roof you can enjoy the weather and the view over the water. Take a seat on the bean-bag chairs or, if the weather is not so nice, find a cosy place in the cabin or deckhouse. If you want, you can learn how a traditional sailing barge is operated.

For every company the right space.
Below decks, a staircase leads you to the fully equipped galley. The living room is furnished with a large, comfortable sitting corner. The layout can be adjusted so as to create a conference room, dining room or party room. The interior is light and entirely finished in oak. The entire ship is provided with central heating.

Staying the night on board the Vrouw Dina.
In the forecastle, on the port side, is a second entrance. Here the six two-person cabins are located, each with its own shower and toilet. The use of bed linen and eiderdowns is included.

History.
In 1974 the Vrouw Dina was called De Onrust. She was used as a holiday boat, with which the skipper as a young girl used to sail the Wadden Sea or Lake IJssel with her family. For a long time the ship was neither used nor maintained. In 2003 a reconstruction plan was set up and the work was started with great enthusiasm. However, the actual reconstruction was hindered by a few setbacks, but after two years of restoration work the vessel was finally ready to sail away from the shipyard. But that was only the outside, as in the spring of 2009 the interior was not finished yet and the rigging still had to be installed. Now the Vrouw Dina, as the ship was renamed, is tastefully furnished and meets all the requirements as regards safety and comfort.
