Kees van Zon comes from an old sailing family.When he joined his father on board, he first sailed at sea for a few years. In 1978, he went into traditional charter sailing. He turned out to be an excellent skipper and sociable host. He knows the IJsselmeer, Frisian Seaand Zeeuw waters like no other. In 1995, he built the two-masted clipper Zuiderzon, a comfortable boat with good sailing characteristics.
You'll soon feel at home on this boat. There's a seating area on the between-decks where you can make the most of the view while the boat cleaves the waves. Below deck, you'll find a modern interior that meets modern day standards.

Extending your trip Its possible for trips to be extended. Contact us for a tailored quote.
Alternative departure harbour Its also possible to use a departure harbour other than the base harbours. If you do, you should take into account the vessels crossing time, which will either be charged for or form part of your trip itinerary. That charge is €60 per hour for vessels being prepared for trips of more than one day.
Bedding and towels Trips of more than one day always include the provision of sheets, pillows and pillow cases. Towels can be hired on board for €4 each. You can arrange this with us up to three weeks before departure.
Cleaning If the cleaning of the vessel after the trip is not included in the rental price (see specifications menu), you can choose to carry out the cleaning yourself or pay to have it done. You can pay the captain on board, or have it added it to the charge for services if you are paying for catering. Cleaning on Saturdays and Sundays is subject to a €20 supplement.
