Although the Hanseatic Days only take place from 15 to 18 June, NAUPAR is already hard at work on the preparations for this international event. Registrations for overnight stays are already pouring in. "The first three sailing ships are already booked", says Pouwel Slurink, director of the nautical business.
Commercial and private
"During the Hanseatic Days, both business groups and individuals can sail, network, have lunch, drinks, dine and even spend the night on our traditional sailing ships. Dozens of impressive ships provide even more atmosphere in the centre of Kampen", he tells us. "Sailing on a traditional sailing ship is a unique experience. Discover the Ijssel delta from the water and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere on one of our ships, while tucking down on a snack and a drink."
Kampen as host
In June 2017, Kampen will be the bustling centre of festivities and networking events. The city will not only be the proud host to roughly 120 European Hanseatic towns, but also to more than 300,000 visitors. During the Hanseatic Days, meeting, talking and promoting the Hanseatic League is central. The Hanseatic cities of today want to keep the international Hanseatic alive and develop self-awareness of European cities. "We are happy to contribute to this", Slurink says.
NAUPAR stands for nautical partners, of which the Hanseatic Company in Kampen forms a part. The company has over 40 years experience in relationship marketing and nautical events.
