Wedding in the Netherlands

To register for marriage, the law requires that one of the partners is a Dutch citizen or holds a valid residence permit to stay in the Netherlands. You must register (ondertouw) at least two weeks before the planned wedding day at the municipal registration office.

Wedding on the IJsselmeer

Getting married, on the middle of the IJsselmeer on the most beautiful, traditional sailing ships of the Dutch fleet: That is only possible with NAUPAR. You can also get married while the ship is moored at the quayside. Various ship belonging to NAUPAR’s fleet are official wedding locations of the municipalities of Monnickendam, Enkhuizen, Hoorn, and Almere Zand.

Wedding night on the water

Various ships offer you the opportunity to spend the night on board. Such an excellent location enables you  to add an extra day to your wedding. What to think of a delicious champagne breakfast the following morning, with family and some of your closest friends?
