Marker Wadden (Lelystad)

Marker Wadden harbour

The harbour is the place where you arrive by ship on the main island of the Marker Wadden. This natural harbour has a wide harbour mouth and a long harbour entrance that stops the waves. A toilet block and a visitor centre have been constructed in the harbour.

About the harbour on the Marker Wadden

The harbour has berths for both pleasure yachts and ships. Near the harbour is a sandy beach where you can sunbathe and swim. From the harbour you can also walk along the ten-kilometre-long footpath; on the route you will find bird watching huts and a twelve-metre-high watchtower. There is a playground for children on the island.
