From 1923, the Zeelandia served as a shell fishing boat, mainly off the coast of South Holland. She has always sailed well due to her streamlined hull. The sophisticated sail design added the necessary stability.
The boat recently underwent thorough refurbishment and now offers additional conveniences such as an extra shower and toilet, and adequate personal storage space in the double cabins. Although the boat is equipped with modern conveniences, it remains sporty with a nautical feel. The small wheelhouse provides shelter from inclement weather. Behind the wheelhouse, there is a sun deck with open views across the water. Skipper Bertus Hulst boasts years of sailing experience in which conviviality plays a big part.

Alternative departure harbour Its also possible to use a departure harbour other than the base harbours. If you do, you should take into account the vessels crossing time, which will either be charged for or form part of your trip itinerary. That charge is €60 per hour for vessels being prepared for trips of more than one day.
Bedding and towels Trips of more than one day always include the provision of sheets, pillows and pillow cases. Towels can be hired on board for €4 each. You can arrange this with us up to three weeks before departure.
Cleaning If the cleaning of the vessel after the trip is not included in the rental price (see specifications menu), you can choose to carry out the cleaning yourself or pay to have it done. You can pay the captain on board, or have it added it to the charge for services if you are paying for catering. Cleaning on Saturdays and Sundays is subject to a €20 supplement.
