One of the most striking buildings of the fortress city Elburg is the former Agnietenconvent. This convent of the 15th-century now houses the Elburg Museum. Here you will find an extensive collection of objects that tell the story of Elburg and its surroundings. Important sub-collections are the city defense, the jurisprudence, Vice Admiral J.H. van Kinsbergen, the silver and the fishing. In addition to the permanent collection, there are also temporary exhibitions on all kinds of topics.
