Fairytale Wonderland

Sprookjeswonderland is a fairytale theme park in Enkhuizen. Fairy-tale figures such as Sleeping Beauty, Hansel and Gretel and Little Red Riding Hood come to life in this park. There are regular performances in the castle. In addition, there is a gnome village, children can travel with witch Hupsakee or have fun in the playground or children's zoo.

History Fairy tale wonderland

Sprookjeswonderland was founded in 1973. For fun, the founder made a gnome doll, which was very successful with the public. Soon more dolls were made, initially travelling around Enkhuizen as a theatre. In 1981 Sprookjeswonderland was expanded and in 1991 the entire gnome village, playground and children's farm moved to the recreation centre on the outskirts of the city due to lack of space.

In Sprookjeswonderland live many fairy-tale figures such as Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, Hansel and Gretel and Pinocchio. In the castle of the park there is a performance about the fary tale of the mouse king. There is also a playground, children's zoo, fun mouse cars, small boats and much more to have a fun day.
