Lelystad, 21 July 2017 – Starting in 2018, the natural islands in the new Marker Wadden island group will be accessible to the public. NAUPAR boats will be setting course for this unique area next year. Due to the expected crowds, it is possible at this time to submit arequestfor a NAUPAR sailing trip in 2018.

This year's event promises to be spectacular. The organisation expects more than 150,000 visitors! While you"re at it, make sure not to miss SAIL Den Helder!

Lelystad, 2 May 2017 – Since the third of February, Kim Apers has been the new captain of the topsail schooner the Grietje. He and his partner Rianne Broekhoven can now call this spacious and comfortably equipped sailing ship their own. But it doesn´t feel completely ´new´ since, after all, "We´ve been living on board the Grietje since February 2016,” says Rianne.

Lelystad, 28 April 2017 – Cooking on board the Brandaris has never been so much fun! That"s because the ship has added a number of practical new appliances to its galley, including a brand-new freezer and refrigerator and an electric Siemens oven! Great-tasting meals can now be prepared in no time.

We are often asked whether it is possible to help out the crew during the sailing trips. The answer is simple: yes, of course! More than that, the crew is happy for all the "extra hands".

Lelystad, 24 February 2017 – On 1 January 2017, Captains Sven and Zippi took over the sailing ship Zuiderzon from Captain Kees. But that"s not all… The two have also given the vessel a new name: Amalia. "Amalia is a popular name in both the Netherlands and Germany,” says Captain Sven.
